How NeedleNote Thinks
Client → Consultation → Tattoo Project → Sessions → complete tattoo history.
NeedleNote Artist thinks the way a long career of tattoos actually works — not the way a spreadsheet thinks.
Visual overview: How it works.
Client
The person — contact, safety notes, and the doorway into their consultations, projects and sessions.
Consultation
Plan the tattoo: idea, placement, size and next steps. Create a client inline if they are new. Consultations plan — they do not become clutter. Not every chat must become a Tattoo Project.
Tattoo Project
Why projects exist: tattoos don’t finish in one sitting. The project holds the complete piece, references and every sitting.
Sessions
Sessions belong to the Tattoo Project. Document each appointment — needles, machines, colour, photos, healing notes — so next sitting starts from history.
Complete tattoo history
Together they become continuity you can trust next year.
Stencils, colour mixes, machines and waivers hang off this spine — they are not orphans.
